Designers Fiona Ryn and Rupert Tapper, both Sydney natives, take inspiration from ’80s supermodels and other strong, sexy women such as Jane Birkin and Lauren Hutton for their established swim label Bower Swimwear. “A bikini should make you feel extremely confident,” said Mr. Tapper. To this end, the pair uses bold colors and strong shapes, devoid of bells and whistles, creating design-led swimwear with a focus on the now, and a nod to the past. Bower Swimwear bikinis utilize luxury fabrics along with complex construction and considered detail to respond to a need for modern and beautifully constructed swimwear with a functional core.
